Terry Byford

As an Owner/Broker with over 15 years as a Realtor, an MA degree in Negotiating and Consulting and expertise in the local area, I bring a wealth of knowledge about buying and selling real estate in Austin. It's not the same everywhere, so you need someone you can trust for up-to-date information and I am always available to help you.

I have spent my life in the "helping professions" and my 16 years in Real Estate as an Agent and Broker have proven to be no different!  I received my B.A. in Elementary Education from the University of Miami and my first career was teaching in a migrant program in rural areas near Miami, Florida.  I moved to Austin in 1981 and began my Real Estate career, became a Broker in 1983 and was consistently a Top Producer until my move to California in 1989.  In 1994,  I began graduate school and received an M.A. Degree in Negotiation and Organizational Consulting and was a trainer and consultant with Oracle and other Bay Area firms. I've been back in Austin since early 2004 when my husband and I moved to Lakeway and I began my second  career in Real Estate and earned my Broker’s License again. I opened my own company in 2009 and I love it as much as I did the first time and don't plan any more changes!  I have a daughter who owns an Insurance Brokerage in California and a daughter who is a Senior Budget Analyst for The City of Austin.  When I'm not out with clients, you can find me on the tennis court, walking, reading or surfing the Web.

Things like staging the home, making repairs or minor improvements, or even simply painting the walls can be the difference between a home resting on the market and one that's sold fast.
